If you are wondering why someone like me would create a blog on writing mother-of-the-bride speeches, let me tell you my story.  I was extremely worried that I might make a fool of myself, and worse yet, embarrass my daughter, Jennifer, on her special wedding day.

So, after fretting and worrying for weeks about how to write and what to write in my mother of the bride speech, I decided to take action and find some useful advice and resources that would make this process easier.

I knew I wasn’t alone in worrying about my wedding speech because I heard the same reaction from other mothers whose daughters were about to be married.  But what I found in my search was a god-send, and I wanted to share this advice with other mothers of the bride who are worried sick over giving their wedding speech.
